Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy applies to the Couple Games mobile application (the “App”), including renamed, updated, or successor versions of the App operated by the applicable publisher or developer.

For the Android version distributed through Google Play, the App is published by Blue Angle Studios.

For the iOS version distributed through the Apple App Store, the applicable publisher is identified in the App Store listing.

2. Information We Process

Couple Games does not require users to create an account.

We do not ask users to provide personal information such as:

• real name;
• email address;
• phone number;
• precise location;
• contacts;
• photos or videos;
• messages;
• user-generated content.

Player names, gameplay preferences, settings, and game state are stored locally on the device and are not used by us for advertising or behavioral profiling.

Limited technical, purchase, and subscription-related information is processed through third-party services necessary to provide purchases and subscription functionality, as described below.

3. Local Gameplay Data

Information used for gameplay is entered or generated directly within the App and stored locally on the device.

This may include:

• player names;
• game preferences;
• selected settings;
• game state or progress;
• other locally stored configuration data.

We do not currently maintain user accounts or a server-side gameplay database.

Deleting the App or clearing its stored data through device settings may remove locally stored gameplay information.

4. Purchases and Subscriptions

Couple Games may offer subscriptions, free trials, introductory offers, or other in-app purchases.

Payments are processed by the platform through which the App is distributed, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store.

We do not directly receive or store full payment-card or banking information.

Google and Apple may independently process account, device, transaction, purchase, subscription, and related information under their own privacy policies and terms.

5. Adapty

We use Adapty as a subscription-management and subscription-analytics service.

Adapty helps the App retrieve subscription information, determine premium-access status, synchronize purchase and subscription status, restore eligible purchases, and provide subscription and revenue analytics.

When the Adapty SDK is activated, Adapty creates an internal profile for the App installation. Couple Games does not use user accounts or its own authentication system, and we do not provide Adapty with a Couple Games customer user ID tied to a named account. However, subscription and interaction data may be associated with an Adapty profile, app installation, device-level identifiers, and App Store transaction information.

Depending on subscription activity and platform, information processed through Adapty may include:

• an Adapty profile identifier;
• device or app-installation identifiers;
• product and transaction identifiers;
• purchase history;
• subscription status;
• trial, renewal, cancellation, expiration, billing, or refund events;
• paywall or subscription-flow impressions and related interaction events;
• store and product information;
• price, currency, and revenue-related information;
• limited technical information required to provide the service.

We configure the Adapty SDK to disable Android Advertising ID collection, Apple IDFA collection, and IP-address collection through Adapty's SDK data-collection settings.

We do not intentionally send player names, gameplay answers, game prompts, challenge history, or other gameplay content to Adapty.

6. How We Use Information

Locally stored gameplay information is used to provide App functionality, including:

• displaying player names;
• remembering preferences and settings;
• maintaining game state;
• providing the selected game experience.

Subscription-related information processed through Adapty is used to:

• provide and maintain premium access;
• determine subscription and entitlement/access status;
• process and synchronize purchase-related events;
• restore eligible purchases;
• understand subscription performance;
• measure paywall impressions and subscription funnel performance;
• measure subscription conversions, trials, renewals, cancellations, refunds, revenue, and related subscription metrics.

7. Advertising and Tracking

Couple Games does not currently contain third-party advertising SDKs and does not display third-party advertising.

We configure Adapty not to collect Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA.

We do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. Analytics, Crash Reporting and Push Notifications

Couple Games does not currently use a general-purpose behavioral or gameplay analytics SDK to track how users play the games.

Adapty is used specifically for subscription management and subscription analytics. Subscription-related events and technical identifiers associated with an Adapty profile may therefore be processed for subscription analytics.

The current version of Couple Games does not use a third-party crash-reporting SDK or a third-party push-notification service.

If these practices change, the Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate.

9. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on third-party services necessary to distribute the App and provide purchase or subscription functionality.

These services currently include:

• Google Play, for Android distribution and purchases;
• Apple App Store, for iOS distribution and purchases;
• Adapty, for subscription management, purchase-status synchronization, access/entitlement status, purchase restoration, and subscription analytics.

These providers may process information under their own privacy policies and legal obligations.

We require service providers that process personal data on our behalf to handle it under appropriate data-protection obligations and safeguards consistent with applicable law and the protections described in this Privacy Policy.

10. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis for processing, we may rely on:

• performance of a contract, where processing is necessary to provide purchased or subscribed App functionality;
• legitimate interests, including operating, securing, maintaining, and understanding the performance of the App and its subscription system;
• compliance with legal obligations, including applicable accounting, consumer-protection, tax, or regulatory requirements;
• consent, where consent is specifically required by applicable law.

11. Data Retention and Deletion

Gameplay information stored locally remains on the device until it is removed by the user, overwritten by the App, or removed when the App's data is cleared or the App is deleted.

Subscription and transaction-related information processed by app stores or Adapty may be retained for periods necessary to provide subscription functionality, maintain purchase and entitlement records, provide subscription analytics, resolve billing or technical issues, prevent misuse, or comply with legal obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, provider requirements, and applicable law.

12. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights regarding information relating to you, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or information about how data is processed.

Because Couple Games does not maintain user accounts and Adapty profiles are not linked by us to a Couple Games account identity, additional information, such as relevant purchase or transaction information, may be necessary to determine whether a particular subscription profile can be located.

Where information is stored only locally on the device, users can generally remove it by deleting the App or clearing its stored data.

Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled through the applicable Google Play or Apple account settings.

13. Children's Privacy

Couple Games is intended for a mature audience and is not designed for children.

Some game modes may contain romantic, intimate, suggestive, personal, or other mature themes.

We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children.

Users should comply with the minimum age requirements and content rating applicable to the App in their country, region, and app store.

14. Security and International Processing

We follow a data-minimization approach and design gameplay functionality so that gameplay information can remain on the user's device.

Third-party service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which the user lives. Their own security, retention, and international-transfer practices also apply.

Where required by applicable law, international transfers of personal information must be supported by an appropriate legal mechanism.

No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, our data practices, subscription infrastructure, third-party services, platform requirements, or applicable law.

The latest version will be published with an updated “Last updated” date.
